Sabang Beach or White Beach | What is it like?
Sabang Beach and White Beach really catches the attention of most tourists because of the white sand and diving sites. This is where you can find an array of accommodations, bars and restaurants.
Most of the tourists visit Sabang Beach because most of the scuba diving sites are located in this area while White Beach is more popular to locals good for swimming and snorkeling.
Sabang Beach and White Beach are highly commercialized due to increasing numbers of tourists visiting the place. Expect that these beaches are crowded most especially during summer when the tourism is at its peak because just like you, many people want to go swimming during summer.

How to get to Puerto Galera to Sabang Beach or White Beach?
- Via Private Car
From Manila, just drive through South Luzon Express way and make a right turn to Star Toll Gate. Drive your way until you reach Batangas Pier. From there you may want to park your car and ride a ferry or if you want to bring your car, ride it with a Roro. If you want to leave your car, there is a covered parking area that will cost you Php 200.00 per day.
- Via Public Transportation
From Manila, ride a bus going to Batangas Pier. It could take a 2-hour ride with a fare of less than Php 250.00.
From Batangas Pier, you have to ride a ferry going to Sabang Beach or to White Beach. Ticket costs around Php 300.00. First trip going to Puerto Galera is 7:30 in the morning and another one every hour.
The easiest way to get to Puerto Galera or Sabang Beach is to ride the Sikat Bus and Ferry Service. It’s a direct ride where the bus and the ferry are already scheduled and waiting for you. It costs Php 700.00 one-way ticket, Php 1400.00 round-tripticket for adults, and Php 350.00 and Php 700.00 for children, respectively.
