Malamawi Beach: Crowless Paradise in Basilan

Malamawi Beach is a beautiful pure white sand beach in Basilan. It is just 15 minutes away from Isabela City which is the capital city of the province. This beach is one of the secret gems of Basilan. It is clean and it is not so very popular among tourists.

It is a kilometer long white sand beach, flour quality sand, transportation is good and people are accommodating. Best spot for swimming, snorkeling and taking plenty of pictures for your social media posts. 🙂

Most people fear Basilan but a lot of people who just want to travel and explore the Philippines found Malamawi Island the best place is Basilan.

“Crowdless Paradise”

Would you believe that there are still beaches here in the Philippines that is not crowded? Malamawi island! A paradise that is just 15 minutes away from Isabela, Basilan. This place is great for relaxing, beach bumming, swimming and eating seafoods. I like this beach because unlike any other beautiful beaches in the country, it has less people.

“Interesting Place”

I never had the chance to visit this place when i was a kid. When i took my vacation last May, I had the chance to come to this place. The sight is breathtaking. Amenities and accommodations are good.
The kilometer-long fine white sand is very inviting. I enjoyed swimming on a shallow part which is kids friendly.
Jetski is also available for rent.
