Our story and approach
About Tourist Spots Finder
Discovering the Philippines through meaningful research and helpful travel information.
We help readers find Philippine destinations and understand the details behind a trip: where to go, how to get there, where to stay and what to check before making plans.
01 / The beginning
How it all started
I started Tourist Spots Finder as a personal project because I appreciated the Philippines' natural places and wanted to bring tourist attractions together on one accessible website. In the early years, I wrote the articles myself.
The site has grown beyond that original blog. My interest in helping people discover places is still here, but the work now puts more emphasis on useful research and the questions travelers face when planning a visit.
02 / Where we are going
Our direction today
Tourist Spots Finder is developing into an independent Philippine tourism information website. Alongside attractions and activities, we want guides to answer practical questions about transport, access, accommodation and the trade-offs between destinations.
A traveler choosing between two towns, for example, needs to know which one makes the next day's trip easier. We aim to make that comparison clear. Tourist Spots Finder publishes information; it does not operate tours or manage hotel reservations.
03 / Editorial approach
How we want the guides to help
These principles guide new work and revisions. They are goals for a growing archive, not a claim that every older article has already been updated.
Meaningful research
We aim to check destination details against useful sources, including tourism offices, local government information and the operators responsible for services.
Practical travel guidance
A place name alone does not plan a trip. We try to explain where an attraction is, how a visitor might reach it and what to confirm before leaving.
Accuracy and transparency
We distinguish researched information from personal experience and say when a fee, schedule or service needs a fresh check. We do not claim to have visited places we have not.
Ongoing improvement
Older articles remain part of this website. We are reviewing and improving them over time, so the depth and currency of information can differ from page to page.
Respect for communities
Destinations are also homes and working places. We want our guides to help visitors follow local rules and treat people, places and natural areas with care.

I founded Tourist Spots Finder and continue to oversee its direction. What began as my collection of Philippine attractions is becoming a more practical resource for readers who need to make travel decisions. My focus now includes destination research, content quality and the usefulness of each guide.

Our commitment to travelers
We want to help you discover places across the Philippines, understand the travel involved and choose plans that suit your time and interests. A good guide should leave you with clearer questions to ask before you book, as well as ideas for where to go.
06 / Corrections
Corrections and transparency
Entrance fees, schedules, transport, room availability and local rules can change. Check current details with official sources or the responsible operator before traveling or paying. If you find a factual error or have a reliable update, please contact us with the page link and your source.
Some pages include affiliate links, including accommodation booking links. An eligible booking may help support the site. Commercial partnerships should not decide whether a recommendation is accurate or useful; our aim is to give readers the information they need to make their own choice.
