Mount Apo has an elevation of 2, 954 meters above sea level. Because it is the highest mountain in the country, it is called as the “Grandfather of Philippine Mountains.” The word Apo itself means “master”.

Tips:

Conquering the highest mountain in the Philippines is not a joke. Prepare your stamina for the whole adventure. Don’t forget to bring waterproof accessories for your phone, cameras and other valuable items. Book your travel in a week or two before the adventure begins.

There are three hotsprings in the foot of Mount Apo that would be an awesome place to relax your body after the long adventure time.

Agco Hotspring is the most popular hotspring in the entire Mindanao. It’s popularity itself shouts how beautiful and relaxing is the place. There are hot and warm pools from the local hotsprings. There is a mud pool, a small waterfall, a Jacuzzi and a sulfur lake.

The Mundo Apo Hotspring and The Mainit Hotspring are very ideal hotsprings also. Just stick with the travel guide for recommendations.
