Iloilo-Guimaras-Negros-Cebu link bridge is said to be the the most ambitious bridge program in the history of our nation. It is expected to be completed within the term of President Rodrigo Duterte and it will begin next year 2017. This is one of the billion dollars project of the new administration.
For the first time in history, The Department of Public Works Secretary Mark Villar, National Economic and Development Authority Director General Ernesto Pernia, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade and Bases Conversion and Development Authority President and Chief Executive Officer Vivencio Dizon held a press conference last Thursday regarding the nine (9) infrastructure projects of the Duterte Administration.
The Department of Public Works Secretary Mark Villar said that the construction of this Iloilo-Guimaras-Negros-Cebu link bridge project will begin next year.
This project is every Visayan Dream. One billion dollars (P48,545,500,000.00) will be spent in this project and it will create hundreds of thousands direct jobs. Not just that, transportation would be very easy and comfortable which then will lead to the boost in tourism.
When this Iloilo-Guimaras-Negros-Cebu link bridge project is done, it will be the longest bridge in the Philippines. As of now, the longest bridge in the country is the San Juanico Bridge which links Samar and Leyte.
You will be able to go on a road trip with your whole family or friends on to the most popular destinations in Iloilo, Guimaras, Negros, and Cebu. You can travel more.
Let us hope for the best. May this dream come into reality. Give your support by sharing this on Facebook so others will know about this.
